Our Closing Process
Selling your vacant land shouldn’t be a headache. At Fortney Land Holdings, we’ve streamlined our land acquisition process into 4 straightforward steps, making it incredibly simple to transform your unused land into cash quickly.
1. Sign & Submit Purchase Agreement
Return your completed and signed purchase agreement to us using any of these convenient methods:

2. Title Work Begins
We will let you know once we receive your signed purchase agreement, and we will send a copy to the title company to begin the title work and closing process. As long as there are no title issues/defects, we will plan to close within 10 business days. If you prefer a quicker closing timeline, please let us know and we will coordinate with the title company to expedite the process.
3. Schedule Closing
A few days before closing, the title company will contact you to arrange your closing appointment, request any necessary documentation (such as trust paperwork if your property is held in a trust), and discuss your preferred payment method (cashier’s check or wire transfer). All financial transactions and paperwork are handled through the title company, ensuring your information remains protected. Local residents can close in-person at the title company’s office, while out-of-state sellers will have a mobile notary scheduled to meet you at your preferred time and location for document signing.
4. SOLD!
Once all closing documents are signed and received by the title company, they’ll finalize the sale and send your funds. You’ll receive the full offer price; we cover all closing costs. What’s more, if you’ve pre-paid your Bella Vista POA dues for the year, you’ll be reimbursed at closing for the prorated months.
